TERM 4 AT BOPAS — WE’RE MAKING A FEATURE FILM! Term 4 is going to look a little different at BOPAS. Every class will become part of the larger production, with characters and scenes written specifically for the actors enrolled. Students will experience what it is like to be part of a much bigger screen project — developing characters, rehearsing, working on set, understanding continuity and collaborating with actors across the studio to bring one story together. IMPORTANT — NO TRIAL CLASSES FOR TERM 4 Because we are writing characters, scenes and filming schedules specifically around the actors who enrol, we are unable to offer trial classes during Term 4. When you enrol, you become part of the film. Your character becomes part of the story, so we need to know who our actors are before we begin. It’s an ambitious project, but we believe one of the best ways to learn screen acting is to actually make something — and this term our students get to experience being part of a feature film from the inside. ABOUT BOPAS At BOPAS, we nurture the next generation of screen and stage talent through practical, hands-on performance training. Our programme evolves with our students and is designed to give actors a place where they can learn, create, take risks and grow. Our classes are built on trust, curiosity and creativity. Students learn how to interpret scripts, make strong choices, listen and respond truthfully, work with other actors and develop confidence in front of the camera. Acting training isn’t just about performing. It develops courage, emotional awareness, communication, imagination and the ability to step into someone else’s world with empathy. BOPAS is also home to Wildcard Collective, our talent agency, creating a direct connection between our studio and the professional Film and Television industry.
