Our Teens Classes will focus on audition and acting techniques, as well as the distinction between theatre and film. At BOPAS our students have the opportunity to learn about the industry from agents, directors, writers and people of authorty within the Film and TV Industry here in Tauranga and Auckland. Our professional tutors will provide industry-standard training and expect the same level of commitment from the teens as from our adult students. Through this class, you will learn to break down characters and reconstruct them in unique ways, using a variety of tools to make bold choices and learn from mistakes. You will have the opportunity to practice script work and monologues on camera, with the recordings available online for further review, and we try and allow our students real auditions within the industry. Join us in a safe and supportive environment to build your confidence, make new friends and gain confidence as you start your journey into the world of screen acting. TERM DATES 2024: Term 1 week starts: 12 February to 8th April Term 2 week starts: 6 May - 7 July (Including 28 June, Matariki, and 3 June, King's Birthday) Term 3 week starts: 29 July - 29 September Term 4 week starts: 21 October - 21 December (including 28 October Labour Day)
